The Algerian Company of Fairs and Exports commonly named by its acronyms SAFEX is a public stock company which was created in 1964, its share capital is 3,500,000,000.00 DZD, it is a member of the International Fairs Union "The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry” since 1965, its main missions are:
- Organization of fairs, specialized exhibitions and national
exhibitions (local and regional).
- Organization of the official participation of Algeria in international
fairs and exhibitions abroad based on the government program.
- Management and exploitation of the infrastructures and structures of
the Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition center hosts an annual average of 50 economic events which concern the following fields of activity: agri-food industry, agriculture, medical, mechanics, building and construction materials, public works, IT, ICT and services.
Through its activities, SAFEX actively contributes to the country’s economic development, to Algeria’s integration into global economic networks, and to the creation of new business opportunities for national companies.
