Grace & Co. Food Processing Enterprise began as a community-based organization (CBO) founded by Ms. Grace Nabieu in 2014 in response to the extreme poverty and agricultural devastation caused by the Ebola outbreak in Kailahun District, Sierra Leone. Transformed into an SME in 2018, it operates from Kailahun Town, focusing on farming, processing, and marketing various agricultural products (Gari, Palm Oil, Rice, Ginger Tea/Seasoning, etc.). Its core mission is to combat poverty and food insecurity, particularly easing post-Ebola and COVID-19 trauma, by empowering the community through skills training, sustainable agribusiness, and value addition. The enterprise is a legally registered business in Sierra Leone with recognized training expertise and values integrity, inclusiveness, effectiveness, and innovation.
