Our Flagship Project: FOGHOEM AGRO RESOURCES PLANT PLC

Africa Group-Co is developing one of the most ambitious industrial projects in Cameroon: the FOGHOEM Agro Resources Plant, dedicated to the construction and operation of an agro-food oil complex in Douala. This integrated plant will cover the entire value chain, from refining vegetable oils to producing margarine and mayonnaise.

Refinery

• Processing capacity: 300 TPD of vegetable oils (soybean, palm)
• Operations: Neutralization, bleaching, deodorizing, soap stock splitting, and fractionation
• Output: High-quality refined oils for diverse downstream applications

Mayonnaise Production

• Capacity: 2 TPH
• Process: Mixing oil, vinegar, egg yolk, and other ingredients, followed by homogenization and packaging
• Output: Mayonnaise and sauces in multiple formats

Margarine Production

• Capacity: 5.4 TPH (table margarine) and 2.2 TPH (puff pastry margarine)
• Process: Blending, emulsification, pasteurization, crystallization, kneading, remelting, and packaging

Bottling Lines

Two bottling units:

• Line 1: 1,400–2,000 BPH for 5L PET
• Line 2: 14,000 BPH for 1L PET

Impact & Scale

• Direct employment: 150 jobs
• Indirect employment: 500 jobs
• Turnover: €2.1 billion
• Taxes paid: €425 million
