The Algerian Company of Fairs and Exports commonly named by its acronyms SAFEX is a public stock company which was created in 1964, its share capital is 3,500,000,000.00 DZD, it is a member of the International Fairs Union "The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry” since 1965, its main missions are:

-       Organization of fairs, specialized exhibitions and national

exhibitions (local and regional).

-       Organization of the official participation of Algeria in international

fairs and exhibitions abroad based on the government program.

-       Management and exploitation of the infrastructures and structures of

the Exhibition Centre.

The exhibition center hosts an annual average of 50 economic events which concern the following fields of activity: agri-food industry, agriculture, medical, mechanics, building and construction materials, public works, IT, ICT and services.
