Nepal Energies: Company Overview for Sponsors

Deep Roots. Fueling Africa

From the West to the South, Nepal Energies has become a catalyst for driving industrialization, trade and impact on the continent. From our humble beginnings in Apapa (Lagos, Nigeria) in 2004, we have scaled into a fully integrated Pan-African energy company, with end-to-end operations across the downstream energy value chain. We are driven by a commitment to Africa’s energy security, indigenous participation and economic growth. Our core values – Service, Transparency, Accountability, Responsiveness and Responsibility (STARR), guide our decision making from top to bottom.

Nepal supplies over 300,000 MT of energy products yearly, backed by multi million dollars investments in world class infrastructure for bulk storage, logistics and retail, generating over $400 million dollars in annual revenue. With a continental workforce of 500+ and a presence across six African countries and counting, we are demonstrating what African ingenuity, and resilience can achieve at scale.

Our Businesses

  • Retail & Distribution: Nepal’s retail network delivers more than just fuel; it creates service ecosystems that anchor communities and drive productivity. With 50+ retail outlets on the continent and target of 100 stations by 2026, we provide last mile delivery of PMS, AGO, LPG, and Lubricants.
Our stations are equipped with solar panels and operational uptime protocols to improve reliability. Our expansion targets high-traffic corridors and underserved peri-urban areas, ensuring inclusive energy access.
  • Commercial & Industrial Supply: Nepal provides energy solutions that power factories, construction projects, logistics fleets, and mining operations.
Our direct-to-business supply model ensures steady, cost-effective access to petroleum products supported by integrated scheduling and transport coordination. By fueling these sectors, Nepal Energies plays a direct role in advancing industrialization and economic growth across Africa.
  • Nepal Fly (Aviation): Aviation is precision-driven, and Nepal Fly exists to meet that standard. Operating across five major international airports, our Jet A1 fueling platform supports commercial, cargo, and charter airlines with a combined storage capacity of 10 million+ liters and fully JIG-compliant operations.
Trusted by global carriers like Air Peace, Lufthansa, Ethiopian Airlines, and Kenya Airways to mention a few, Nepal Fly is expanding across Africa’s top aviation hubs. Our focus: turnaround precision, safety, agility and zero-disruption uptime.
  • Trading & Midstream: At the heart of Nepal is a trading engine that ensures fuel security across Africa’s volatile markets. Active in Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, South Africa, and Zambia, we manage cross-border supply chains through strategic partnerships and multi-modal logistics (road, coastal, and storage).
Our portfolio spans PMS, AGO, Jet A1, LPG, and Base Oil. With a risk-managed scheduling model and infrastructure-backed operations, Nepal Energies is positioned to become a key regional midstream integrator.
  • Upstream Services: Nepal Energies became a player in the Upstream industry in 2020 with a services-first approach. Building on decades of deep industry expertise, we deliver Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Maintenance (EPCIM) solutions, drilling and production support, marine logistics, and skilled manpower for field operations.
Our strategy prioritizes capital discipline, HSSE leadership, and strong technical partnerships, ensuring reliability and local participation. With a marginal field license secured, we are also positioned to deliver our first producing asset by 2028.

Our Impact

  • Job Creation: Supporting job creation across key African markets through direct and indirect employment.
  • Infrastructure: Huge infrastructure investments in end-to-end supply chains from bulk storage to commercial and last mile delivery.
  • Cleaner Energies: Expanding LPG adoption, piloting solar in retail outlets, and supporting Africa’s transition to sustainable sources of energy.
  • Continental Growth: Building a Pan-African corporation that proves the capabilities of fully indigenous African companies, delivering world-class services that is rooted on excellence and impact.

Looking Ahead

Nepal is entering its next phase of growth with a Pan-African agenda:

  • Entering new markets through strategic partnerships and joint ventures
  • Investing in infrastructure that powers industries and accelerates continental trade
  • Driving energy transition adoption with cleaner fuels and renewable integration
  • Creating opportunities for Africans by Africans, strengthening skills and local participation in the energy value chain

Nepal Energies is a proudly Pan-African company with Nigerian roots. Our ambition is bold but grounded. We are shaping Africa’s future by eradicating energy poverty, powering industries, and driving regional connectivity in aviation.
