Redstar Oil & Gas Ltd (“Redstar”) is part of the Redstar group, a Nigerian-based energy and logistics conglomerate founded in 2007 by Alhaji Shamsudeen Aminu Kofa, a grand Child of Alhaji Alhassan Dantata.

The Redstar group initially focused on Oil trading and logistics but achieved a major Midstream and upstream presence in 2012 when it ventured into shipping and marine logistics procuring tankers and specialized Tugboats.

One of Redstar’s subsidiaries; Halkoff Logistics Int’l Limited is responsible for the towage operations at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery Limited and the Lekki Deep Sea.

Redstar Oil and Gas Limited is one of the foremost companies to venture into Alternative Crude Evacuation Operations for NNPCL subsidiaries (OML18) and other fields like OM24, OML 42, Apani field etc. The company is responsible for the towage operations at the Onne Pilotage district on an NPA concession program.
