Rosswood Company Limited was founded in 2015 out of a personal quest to find healthier 

food alternatives for a daughter suffering from chronic intestinal infections. This journey led 

us into the world of probiotic yoghurt and, over time, expanded into a broader commitment 

to rural empowerment and agro-processing. 

In 2020, we diversified into cashew processing to support women cashew farmers in the 

Bono and Ahafo Regions. Our approach goes beyond purchasing raw materials: we currently 

work directly with over 60 women farmers and have established five cooperatives and one 

union through which we provide ongoing support. Our support includes financial literacy 

training and off-season income generation activities such as ginger and cassava cultivation, 

and beekeeping. We buy the honey produced through beekeeping and use it in roasting our 

cashews.
