Health Requirements for Travellers to Algeria
Important Notice for African Travelers (excluding North Africa and Europe):
All guests arriving in Algeria from African countries outside of North Africa and Europe are required to present an International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever.
The vaccination must be administered at least 10 days prior to entry into Algerian territory.
We strongly advise all eligible travellers to ensure their vaccination is up to date and to carry their certificate upon arrival.

The ATA Carnet is an international document issued within the framework of the Istanbul Convention. It includes internationally valid guarantees and can be used instead of national customs documents and as security for import duties and taxes, covering the temporary admission of goods, excluding means of transport.

This is the customs regime that allows the temporary admission of goods with re-exportation in the same condition without prior authorization, and with full suspension of duties, taxes, and economic prohibitions.

It should be emphasized that communication officers or press attachés accompanying official delegations are not subject to the accreditation procedure, but must provide a list of all equipment in their possession.
