Tšepiso Mofolo is an accomplished investment promotion and market access specialist with extensive experience in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and fostering economic development in Lesotho. Currently serving as an Investment Promotion Officer – Manufacturing at the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC), he is responsible for promoting and facilitating both local and international investment in the manufacturing sector. He is a Strategic marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in communication campaigns, media outreach, stakeholder engagement, market research, and investment facilitation. He boasts a proven ability to develop and implement impactful marketing strategies, manage multi-channel communication campaigns, and engage diverse audiences. He has designed and implemented multi-channel communication campaigns to attract investors and promote economic development initiatives.
Previously, Tšepiso held key positions at the Basotho Enterprise Development Corporation (BEDCO), where he played a pivotal role in developing market access strategies for local entrepreneurs, connecting them with international markets through initiatives such as Trade Facilitation Office Canada (TFOC), UNDP’s Supplier Development Program and USAID Trade Hub. His career also includes leadership roles in telecommunications, enterprise development, and business consulting, demonstrating his versatility in sales, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Tšepiso holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the National University of Lesotho and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing form Unicaf University Malawi. He has also completed specialized training in Project Planning and Costing through the Stellenbosch Graduate Institute.
