I am Kirubel Akalu, a visionary Ethiopian entrepreneur and Founder of GlobeDock Academy, an EdTech social enterprise that's transforming how Ethiopian students access secondary education and workforce readiness. With over eight years of experience at the intersection of digital innovation, education reform, and business development, I've built scalable learning platforms that reach over 200,000 learners across Ethiopia, including in rural, underserved, and low-connectivity communities.
I graduated in computer science from Addis Ababa University and have founded multiple ventures, including an education consultancy and an AI-powered learning platform aligned with national curricula. At IATF 2025, I seek to connect with partners across the continent to expand trade in educational technologies, digital content, and youth skills development infrastructure tailored for Africa's future.
