Delisile Booi is a South African entrepreneur and innovation leader, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Booi Industries (Pty) Ltd, a company pioneering autonomous mining robotics for deep-level and narrow reef mining environments. With over a decade of experience in industrial development, human capital strategy, and technology-driven project leadership, Delisile has played a central role in conceptualizing and managing the development of the Rapid Access Miner—a non-explosive, AI-integrated tunnelling system designed to modernize underground mining infrastructure.

His expertise spans across engineering management, R&D strategy, HR systems for technical teams, and commercialisation of industrial technologies. He has worked closely with partners such as MEMSA, CSIR, and the Gibela Business Incubator to drive innovation from concept to prototype.
