MUSTAPHA NJIE (TAF) is the man behind the success story called TAF AFRICA GLOBAL LIMITED (TAG). Born in The Gambia, I have 50 years of hands-on experience across all levels of the construction and real estate industries.
TAG, which is registered in nine African countries with a dominant presence in The Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria, was founded in 1990. My vision for the company is firmly rooted in innovation, extreme diligence, hard work, and resilience. I am unafraid of challenges and I consistently challenge traditional ways of doing things, continually working to improve processes.
To me, every project must be a legacy! I led the team that designed, built, and furnished the 52 A.U. Presidential Villas in The Gambia in a record time of four months. TAG have also constructed several affordable housing estates in Gambia and Nigeria. With a renewed vision to build one million homes across Africa by 2038, TAG is currently developing cities throughout the continent — including the TAF Salone Micro City (Freetown, Sierra Leone), the TAF City (Gunjur, The Gambia), and the Greater TAF City (Port Harcourt, Nigeria).
Aside from being decorated with the Insignia of Member of The Republic of The Gambia (MRG) by His Excellency, the President of The Gambia, I and the company have been meritoriously recognized across the African continent and beyond.
My expertise and passion have led me to traverse continents, sharing my extensive experience as a renowned developer on various platforms—as a presenter, keynote speaker, and panellist.
I am also an unrepentant philanthropist who believe in leaving a legacy and have continued to impact lives, particularly those of youth and women, through the TAF Africa Foundation. I am passionate about leadership and entrepreneurship, as demonstrated by the various activities carried out by the Foundation, including TAFCON, TAF Club Ten, TAF Start-ups, TAF Training Institute, TAF Leadership Academy, TAF Icon, and TAF Hub.
