About Me

Blaise BASHIMIRIMANA is a trade and investment professional currently working at the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Rwanda, within the Trade and Investment Department. With over five years of experience in the investment domain, I have been actively involved in the negotiation and follow-up of trade and investment agreements, while also supporting Rwanda’s private sector in accessing regional and international markets through trade fairs and networking platforms.

In addition to my work in trade and investment, I have four years of experience in public financial management, having served in the internal audit function within local government. This dual expertise has equipped me with strong analytical, regulatory, and policy skills.

I possess broad knowledge in trade-related matters, including regional trade policies, investment promotion frameworks, market access strategies, and private sector development. I am committed to fostering inclusive trade and enhancing Rwanda’s competitiveness in both regional and global markets
