Brian Wamukota is a Kenyan enterprise development strategist and youth employment advocate with over eight years of experience catalyzing inclusive entrepreneurship across agribusiness, the green economy, and informal sectors. With a foundation in Commerce and advanced training in project management and inclusive business models, Brian has led national and community-level initiatives that enhance access to finance, business development services, and policy support for youth- and women-led MSMEs.
A CoFounder and Agribusiness & Livelihoods Lead at Africa Agribiz Concepts and former Business Coach with the WFP-supported Vijana In Kilimo Biz program, Brian has designed and executed programs impacting over 1,000 entrepreneurs across Kenya’s ASAL and rural regions. His work integrates digital tools, public-private partnerships, and resilience frameworks to drive sustainable income generation, food security, and climate adaptation.
Brian has championed systems thinking, locally rooted solutions, and collaborative learning through roles at the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority, GIZ, Farm Africa, and AVSI Foundation. A Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) alumnus and ILO-certified BDS trainer, he thrives at the intersection of policy innovation and grassroots mobilization.
