About

Proplastics Limited , is a listed company on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange since the 8th of June 2015. The listing followed a dividend in specie of 1:1 from Masimba Holdings to Proplastics shareholders. Proplastics is Zimbabwe’s leading plastic pipe manufacturer, specialising in the manufacturing of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) pipes and related fittings. The pipes are manufactured for various applications in irrigation, water and sewer reticulation, mining, telecommunications and building construction. Established in 1965, Proplastics has over 50 years of experience in the industry and has grown and evolved on the back of its philosophy of constant and never-ending improvements to become the leading player in Zimbabwe with a significant market share in the SADC region. The company has the capacity to convert 12 000 tonnes of PVC and HDPE per annum. Proplastics products are manufactured in an ISO 9001 accredited factory. The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System accreditation is the backbone of the Proplastics customized manufacturing and service delivery processes to ensure world class standards are followed in all aspects of the business. Hence, products carry the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) and South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) marks of quality in fulfilment of the company’s mission “to deliver world class plastic piping systems”.
